1. What Obra na Ásia is

Obra na Ásia is an app affiliated with Instituto Vida Para Todos — IVPT (CNPJ No. 00.623.904/0001-73) that organizes colporteur logistics: who is in which country, until when they may stay and when they need to travel.

By creating your account and accepting these Terms, you agree to the rules below. How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.

2. Who can use it

  • Only people over 18.
  • Colporteurs and administrators invited by IVPT. It is not possible to create an account without an invitation.
  • The invitation is personal and valid for 7 days. Do not pass it on to anyone else.

3. Your account

  • You create your own password, with at least 8 characters.
  • Keep the password to yourself and do not send it by message to anyone, including administrators.
  • You are responsible for what is done with your account. If you think someone has used it, tell an administrator and change your password.
  • After 5 wrong passwords in a row, the account is locked for 15 minutes.

4. Your data

  • Provide truthful data and keep it up to date, especially passport, contact and emergency contacts.
  • You agree that an administrator may create your initial record (name, nationality and WhatsApp). You fill in the rest. Only if you are unable to do so may an administrator fill it in for you, and this is recorded in the history.
  • Emergency contacts: by naming a person as an emergency contact, you declare that you have told them that their data will be kept for that purpose.

5. How to use the app

You agree to:

  • use the app only for the logistics of the work;
  • not try to access other people's data or bypass the app's protections;
  • not upload files that are not your own documents or that contain viruses;
  • not copy, share or disclose app data outside the app.

6. Administrators

Administrators have access to the data of all colporteurs, including passport and contact details. Anyone with that access therefore also agrees to:

  • use the data only for logistics and for the care of colporteurs;
  • not copy, photograph, export or share data outside the app, except as needed to issue tickets, handle an emergency or comply with the law;
  • not leave the account open on a shared device.

7. What the app does and does not do

  • The app calculates and alerts. Administrators decide about trips, tickets and rotation.
  • Visa deadlines are entered manually by administrators from the passport stamp. The official deadline is the one on the stamp and set by immigration authorities, and each person is responsible for respecting it. If anything in the app looks different from your stamp, tell an administrator.
  • We do our best to keep the app available, but it may go offline for maintenance or failures. This does not replace direct contact with administrators in an urgent situation.

8. Suspension and end of the account

  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms.
  • When your cycle ends, your account is deactivated. The history remains stored as described in the Privacy Policy, and you may ask for anonymization at any time.

9. Ownership

The app, the Obra na Ásia brand and its texts belong to IVPT and its authors. Your data and files remain yours.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When a change is important, you will see the new text on your next access and will need to accept it again. The Terms are available in Portuguese and English; in case of divergence, the Portuguese version prevails.

11. Law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any dispute will be heard in the courts of the district of Sumaré/SP, without prejudice to the rights that the law of your country guarantees you.
